Christmas at the Crossroads
The magic of the Christmas Holiday starts in Downtown
Perry with a traditional Christmas parade which included the
jolly ol' elf himself festooned in his famous red suit.

Big Indian Creek - Centennial Park
Long ago Native Americans lived along the banks of the

Our Museums - Muse &
Peruse
Visit our two museum. The first honors one of Perry's
favorite son's Senator Sam Nunn and is located in the
Houston Board of Education Building which dates from the 1920's
and was attended by the Senator. Exhibits include
memorabilia from the Senators years of service in the US Senate
and a turn of the century classroom. The second museum in
that of the
Perry Area Historical Society. From antique
toys to Civil War rifles, one learns of Perry's history.
Of special interest is the Museum's Resource Room which contains
volumes of family histories and old scrapbooks. It is a
genealogical gem. The
Perry Historical Museum in located at 901 Northside Dr. and is open from 10 am to Noon and 2:00 to 4:00
pm, Tues., Wed., & Thurs. and on Saturday, 10 am to Noon.
